Money for Santa
A magnificent total of £7,300 was raised by Cookstown Rotary Club members who organised and helped out at the Loughry Santa Trail from 30 November to 23 December 2007 at the local Garden World Centre.
Santa welcomed children to his magical Christmas Trail , where in addition to meeting him and his animals , they received a gift,got refreshments and a photograph with the great man himself.
The Northern Ireland Children's Hospice and Rotary Club Charities were the recipients of the proceeds. Rotary will keep about £1,700 for its own charity use.
