You're welcome to our site! Some people have said to me, "Hope you have a good year" and others, "Hope you have a successful year!"

How do you define success? "Success is a moving target. Every time I make my mark, somebody paints the wall," go the lyrics of a country song. I like this definition of success: "To leave the world a bit better, to know that even one life has breathed easier because you lived, that is to have succeeded."

As a Club we're going to try to follow in the successful steps of those who have served and those who are still serving in Cookstown.

Catch the vision with us that, for example, many more people will walk with more hope because they will have been helped through Rotary's Polio Plus; that more children will find support & friendship through Rotary's Hope & Homes; that families who find themselves suddenly without a roof over their heads will find temporary shelter in a tent with the Rotary logo through Shelter Box; that in the Cookstown community, our neighbours who need help will find our Club ready to offer "service above self" as we did last year through "Charis Cancer Care."
